Kmart shoppers go wild over $8.50 storage item: 'Invention of the century'

A TikTok creator (@claudiashops) recently praised the product on the social media platform and said it’s “changed her life”. She explained that she bought them in-store and was told by a fellow shopper that they were “s**t”, but is now convinced they were lying after trying them for herself.

“So I went to Kmart and I got these shelves that you stick in,” she detailed. “A lady saw me and she goes, ‘I’ve got those shelves, they’re s**t’. I know you lied to keep them to yourself, they are so f**king good.”

She then flipped the camera to show the dividers being used in her wardrobe’s shelves to separate her pants from her shirts and other articles of clothing.

“Are you kidding me? Invention of the century,” she remarked. “This goes higher [or] smaller, they snap in, they’re quite sturdy. What do you mean they’re s**t? They’re amazing.

“I think they cost less than $10 for two. It’s actually changed my life for my wardrobe. Run to Kmart, I guess!”

'I need these ASAP'

Her followers took to the comments to praise the product, with some people admitting they own them already and others saying they “need” to buy them.

“Love them and have so many, fantastic for t-shirts, shorts and jumpers,” one person wrote, while another added, “My linen cupboard looks so much better because of these!”.

“They are so good!” a third shared, followed by a different user who said, “Absolutely no way, I need these ASAP”.

“I always walked past these but suddenly I need them,” someone else remarked.

Others also predicted that the woman from the story was likely using the shelves “incorrectly”, which is why she didn’t think they were any good.

“Maybe she was using them as shelves instead of dividers,” a follower commented, to which the creator responded, “I definitely think she was doing something strange”.
