In a time when you can't even buy a latte and a bacon and egg roll without forking out about $30, it's always great to find cheap items that can be used for multiple purposes. It probably comes as no surprise that these types of items can often be found at Kmart.

The budget retailer has become something of a celebrity these days, thanks to its hordes of loyal devotees who love to share their latest finds with their fellow fans. One such fan, Oh So Busy Mum, recently revealed a clever holiday hack using a $1.75 gadget, and it spurred on an even bigger chat about all of the things it can be used for.

The Anko Stroller Clips are designed to keep shade cloths over prams, but according to the content creator, they come in super handy when lounging by the pool or embarking on a cruise.

"{TIP} If you’re off on a cruise or tropical holiday, these clips are amazing for holding your towel on sun lounges! They won’t slip off or blow off. I get them from the baby section of Kmart for $1.75 each. You’ll need 2 per chair, and you pop them on the top of each corner."

The idea was met with plenty of excitement with comments like, "Brilliant idea for my next cruise (on Friday) thank you" and "Thanks for this. I go on my first cruise next week can’t wait!".

As it turns out, keeping your towel on the back of your chair is just the tip of the iceberg with these clips as the suggestions came rolling in.

"I use them to hold sheets over our windows so my little one’s room is darker," was one idea.

"Great for hanging towels on the pool fence, too," was put forward by a few people.

"Also good for clipping towels/swimwear to balconies in apartments or in holiday parks and stopping them from blowing into the gardens," someone else added.

"I also use them to hang swimmers to dry on the back of the chairs on the balcony," another added.

"Currently on a cruise and have used them for keeping towels in place on the sun lounger so they don’t fall down as ur getting on the lounge (for us not so nimble folk), to secure wet swimmers to the back of chairs on our balcony to dry, and to secure a blanket to the bottom of top bunk to create a cubby house in the bottom bunk," yet another person weighed in - proving the $1.75 clips truly are the MVP.
