Kmart shoppers racing to buy popular new $6 item with multiple uses: 'Bargain'

One of the most annoying things about going for a run is figuring out what to do with your keys, your phone and your headphones case. So, it's no surprise that running belts have been rising in popularity in recent years, with Kmart creating their own version for a fraction of the price of other brands.

Shoppers love the budget retailer's $6 Sports Belt that comes in several different colours, with several people suggesting it has many uses. According to Kmart, the "Sports Belt provides a convenient way to carry essentials during workouts or outdoor activities. Its adjustable design ensures a comfortable fit."

Gymshark, LSKD, and Lululemon all sell their own running belts that range from around $35 to $50.

TikTok user @shanichantel shared her review of the belt, telling her followers, "This Kmart workout band was $6 and it's probably one of my best investments. I never run without my phone, I live in a really busy area, and you never know what could happen.

"So, it fits my phone perfectly in the little main section, I guess, here, I also keep my AirPods in here."

Shani adds that it also has an opening for headphone cords if you don't use wireless headphones.

"It also has this little pocket for your keys, with a little clip on the inside, so even if it does fall out, girl, you're not losing it, thank God!" she said, adding, "It's got this really sturdy clip-in belt part thing – the reason I'm highlighting that is because I've had a few of these and this part is always like a tiny little clip and it just doesn't keep it in place, so the wide band really just stops it from moving around.

"And it's adjustable, so if you don't want to wear it [on your hips, on your waist] or wherever, you can wear it as a crossbody and it's perfect."

"$6 what a f***ing bargain!" she finished the video.

Shani also shared in the comment section the the belt fits her phone, which is an iPhone 14 Pro Max!

Shani's followers loved the review, with one user responding, "As a mum this is awesome. I hate carrying around a bag when I have the carrier and a toddler. All I need is something for my phone and keys."

"I’ve been walking with my dogs and my phone annoys me so much!" another wrote, adding they hoped it was at their local store.

Many others suggested the pack was great for travelling and concerts or festivals as well.
