Kmart furniture has quickly become a favourite for young Aussies in recent years thanks to much lower prices than their competitors. Now, a $99 accent chair from the budget retailer, which appears to be a dupe of a $949 item, is making waves online.

TikTok user @hellojessicamary shared a video on the app, showing how she was styling Kmart's Marlo Lounge Chair in her home. Jessica purchased two of the chairs and arranged them side by side in her living room.

The chairs feature off-white cushions and a black steel frame, though you can also get it with a white frame.

Kmart describes the chair online as, "The Marlo Lounge Chair blends a sleek profile with practical features, making it a stylish addition to any living space."

They also say that it's "easy to assemble, adding, "This chair will be perfect for your home or office. It is built with a steel frame, making it ideal for everyday use."

The Marlo Lounge Chair appears to be a dupe of something like Temple & Webster's Lowen Sling Accent Chair, which retails for $949, but is currently on sale for $50 cheaper at $899, or their Faust Accent Chair, which retails for $249.

Other Kmart fans commented on the video, sharing their love for the chairs, with one saying, "Kmart just gets better and better."

"OK, I need," someone else added, while another said, "Running to Kmart."

One user asked what sort of fabric it was, with Jessica replying, "I'd describe it as a finer boucle texture."

Some said they thought the chairs would be good as outdoor furniture, but the Kmart website stresses that they are suitable for indoor use only.
