Kmart fans go nuts over never-before-seen homewares

Kmart fans have gone nuts over never-before-seen homewares that have quietly made their way into stores.

Some of the new bargain buys include items for the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and outdoors.

The new homewares selection features a $25 modular cube unit, a $45 bamboo hamper, a $49 set of two oak look tables, a $69 a drop leaf table and $229 five piece outdoor bar setting.

Fans on the Addicted to Bargains Facebook group shared their excitement over the new products with one user writing, "OMG I could spend so much money at Kmart."

"Might camp out," another added, while someone else wrote, "I'll be broke after this."

However others commented that they'd been unable to find the items for purchase both online and in store.

"There’s lot of items displayed and never any stock - what’s the point?" one user wrote.

One user also wished that Kmart would consider doing children's items in different colours, "I love the kids bedside tables but why [oh] why do they have to be only pink or blue!!!

The items she was referring to are the Kids Side Tables which feature a small book shelf and one drawer and are just $29.

Fitness restock

It comes after Kmart announced they will be restocking their fitness range after shelves were stripped bare in a mad rush to stock up on supplies as the coronavirus pandemic reached Aussie shores.

With overseas factories impacted by the virus, the low stock continued for far longer than most shoppers expected, but now finally they will be thrilled to see stock back on shelves, and a few new items to boot.

Yoga mats, kettle bells, boxing equipment and even a pneumatic stepper are available are available to purchase.
