The $9 Kmart Spring wardrobe essential loved by influencers
If you’re anything like us, you’re on an eternal sartorial quest to find The Perfect T-Shirt — you know, one that’s comfy, flattering and oh-so-chic. It’s not asking for much, right?
Kmart has taken on the fashion challenge with its $9 ‘Short Sleeve Drop Shoulder Tee’ which, according to smitten style influencers on Instagram, ticks all the boxes and more.
Dani of the affordable fashion account @luxeandlemonade shared a photo of herself sporting the relaxed-fit cotton tee in black, which she tucked into a pair of white high-waisted jeans and accessorised with several necklaces.
She hailed the item as “the $9 tee you didn’t know you needed,” and her followers appeared to agree.
“That looks great!!” commented one, while another added, “Omg yesssss summer goals.”

Over on her account @thisisgenevieve_, Gen also rocked a similar monochrome outfit and reported that the t-shirt was “thick, durable and enough structure to look just a little luxe”.
Sarah from @shessoseasonal was Spring-ready in a white version of the tee which she paired with a leopard print midi skirt from Zara and an Ally Fashion fedora.
One of Sarah’s followers was inspired to hit the shops:
“These Kmart tees are amazing I think I’m sold on getting one,” they wrote.
The ‘online shopaholic’ behind @wheredidyougetyouroutfit shared a snap of herself wearing the t-shirt in the colour ‘Rose Glow’ — it also comes in ‘Apricot’ and ‘Blue Stripe’.
