Yahoo Lifestyle Kendall Jenner would wear activewear for the rest of time
As a superstar constantly on the go, Kendall Jenner knows the importance of a versatile outfit.
“I always like to find the balance between style and comfort,” she tells us. “It’s important to find fabrics and silhouettes you feel good in and have your go-to basics. Layering is also key for versatility. I find that layering a cool jacket can almost always elevate an outfit.”
Versatility is the backbone of Jenner’s latest campaign for British activewear brand Adanola, a label that designs clothing for “modern, multi-faceted lives” with minimalistic pieces that are classic, clean, and comfy.
As the newest face of the brand, Jenner is the star of several playful Eighties and Nineties-themed sports shoots photographed by Sean Thomas and styled by Carlos Nazario.
“I was really drawn to the versatility and minimalism of Adanola’s designs,” Jenner says. “I love that their pieces are not only functional for workouts, but also stylish enough to wear every day.”
Those who follow Jenner’s style will know this is true, as just last month, she wore one of the brand’s purple sets to head to a workout — and she shared a selfie of the fit on her Instagram Story.
As the 818 Tequila founder points out, activewear doesn’t have to be limited to the gym. “I’m excited to incorporate athleisure pieces — like hoodies, joggers, and track jackets — into my winter wardrobe,” she says. “I love the relaxed, effortless vibe they create. I also love an oversized look during the winter.”
In the campaign photos, Jenner models sculpting activewear and track sets, as well as knits and sweats that offer cozy layering for chilly winter days. All the pieces are available to shop from today.
Naturally, the supermodel now has a full closet of Adanola pieces, but speaking of her go-tos, she tells Bazaar: “The Ultimate Full-Length Unitard is so comfortable!” She adds, “My favourite is the all-brown look — the biker shorts, sports bra, and zip-up top. It is super cute and cosy and something I would definitely wear to work out or get things done around the house.”
But if there’s one piece of activewear Jenner would choose to wear for the rest of her life, it would definitely be a pair of leggings. “They’re so comfortable and versatile,” she says. “I loved the navy blue ones I wore for this campaign — they felt super smoothing and sculpting. I could’ve worn them all day!”
