K-pop Star Ningning Models Versace’s Kleio Bag in New Campaign Featuring Intimate Portraits as Latest Global Brand Ambassador
K-pop star Ningning appears in her first campaign for Versace, modeling the Italian luxury fashion company’s Kleio bag. The 21-year-old Chinese singer was named a global brand ambassador last February.
The photos, captured by Mok Jung Wook, feature the pop star with variations of the Kleio bag in both intimate color and black-and-white portraits. Ningning, a star in the K-pop group Aespa, rose to fame in the early 2020s, becoming the first Chinese singer to join a K-pop group. Ningning previously competed on such reality competition series as “China’s Got Talent” and “Let’s Sing Kids.”

Ningning has worn Versace for several high-profile events. While attending the Cannes Film Festival last year, the singer wore a black and white Atelier Versace gown.
“Ningning is not only a brilliantly talented star, she is a wonderful person,” said Donatella Versace of the singer’s addition to the Italian fashion house’s growing roster of ambassadors.
“She has a strong, confident vision, incredible energy and talent and she looks amazing wearing our clothes. I am thrilled she is becoming part of our global Versace family,” she said.
“Versace has always been about pushing boundaries of creative expression and championing those who are confident to express themselves, especially in the music world,” said Ningning.
“That is why being a Versace brand ambassador is so exciting for me. I feel a new strong attitude when I wear Versace and I’m excited to share it with everyone in the hope that they too feel confident to share their own strength and power.”
Ningning joins other global ambassadors such as Oscar winners Anne Hathaway and Cillian Murphy, both of whom starred in the April 2024 Icons Campaign, and Chinese actress Rosy Zhao, who was named a global ambassador in November 2023.
