Jessica Simpson reveals secrets behind 45kg transformation
Jessica Simpson has opened up about her 45kg weight loss transformation that she underwent in 2019 after welcoming her youngest daughter Birdie Mae, three.
The 42-year-old revealed all in an interview with Extra, how she underwent the transformation.
"I went to a nutritionist, and I needed to get my eating habits right," she shared. When asked if she feels "healthy", the singer responded, "I absolutely feel healthy."
"I don't know. I feel like my old self before I had children and all the hormones going wild."
Jessica is also mum to daughter Maxwell Drew, 10, and son Ace Knute, nine.

"I feel younger, actually. I have a lot more energy and yeah, I get to wear all the clothes that are in storage that I saved for Maxwell and Birdie. Maybe Birdie will outgrow them because Maxwell has already outgrown me!"
Jess also shared that she's working out more often with trainer to the stars Harley Pasternak, following Harley's Body Reset Diet plan, which includes three meals a day as well as smoothies and snacks.
She also shared that while she doesn't eat much 'junk food', she does enjoy sweets such as powdered doughnuts.
The singer has previously revealed she threw away her scales after watching her weight fluctuate for years and only wants to celebrate her body now.
Jessica also revealed that she has never gotten used to the fact people are interested in her weight and how she looks, adding she's been hurt by media attention in the past, but used it to create her own clothing line, The Jessica Simpson Collection.
"I've been criticised, and it hurts, but I've been every weight and I've been proud of it," she said. "I decided, 'Okay, everybody is going to talk about my weight all the time, I might as well make money off of it and turn it into a business of selling clothes and acceptance'."
Jessica also shared in the interview she was "warned" by Lynda Carter on the set of the Dukes of Hazzard that she'd always be known as Daisy Duke from then on.
"Lynda Carter warned me on the set of Dukes of Hazzard," she said. "She was like, 'I will always be Wonder Woman and compared to Wonder Woman, and that's what you're doing here as Daisy Duke. Just know the words 'Daisy Duke' will follow you for the rest of your career.'"
Elsewhere in the interview, she added that she and her husband Eric Johnson still have an amazing relationship.
"What makes us last? I’m pretty obsessed with him still," she said. "That’s a good thing. And he loves me right, like, actual love, and I love him just the same. And he’s got a great a**! We just work, we just fit, you can’t undo us! This puzzle piece is solid. Yep, we framed it."
She added that she thinks the secret to a good relationship when you have kids is to have time that is just the two of you from time to time to remember how you were before you had children.
