Jessica Simpson has taken to Instagram to showcase her fit physique in a pink paisley two-piece after revealing she has gained and lost 45kg three times.
The 41-year-old shared in a post that she'd "enjoyed a good round cry today" over her transformation, writing, "I have gained and lost 100lbs [45kg] 3x so I never thought this moment could or would happen, but I’m finally spring breakin’ wearin’ a BIKINI!!!!!!"
She added that it took "hard work, determination and self love" to get to where she is now.
Fans loved the post with one user commenting, "Amazing accomplishment - not just the weight but the self confidence. Love to see it! And you look great!!"
"Congratulations! Always beautiful no matter the weight," another follower wrote.
"You can wear anything at any size, every body is beautiful," a third added.
"Congrats, that's a lot of hard work," someone else wrote.
Jessica has previously opened up about undergoing two tummy tucks in 2015, writing in her memoir, Open Book, that she ended up in hospital after getting an infection following the second procedure.
"I wanted to get rid of the stretch marks and loose skin left sagging from my back-to-back pregnancies," she wrote. "I was so ashamed of my body at this point that I wouldn’t let [husband Eric Johnson] see me without a white T-shirt on."
But the second procedure led to complications with the singer adding, "I got an infection — colitis — and was vomiting so much I thought I was going to bust my sutures. … Doctors talked seriously about me needing a blood transfusion."
While she has admitted to the surgery, she has previously stated she wouldn't get Botox and instead uses red light therapy to "tighten" her skin, adding she doesn't want to risk losing her "expressions" if she did get injectables.
When Jessica welcomed her third daughter Birdie, three, she shared that she lost 45kg almost six months after giving birth.
Her trainer Harley Pasternak told E! News he first started the singer out with a step goal of 6,000 a day after she had time to recover from labour. Then he gradually increased it and in the end she was walking up to 14,000 steps a day.
He noted that he didn't ask Jessica to do anything that was "too difficult, painful, hard, or arduous", knowing she wouldn't stick to it if it was.
After a little while, they began adding in full-body workouts every other day.
They also worked on prioritising her sleep and tried to get at least seven hours of shut-eye a night.
During an interview on the Today Show in 2021, Jessica revealed she no longer weighs herself and relies on how she feels in her clothes.
"I have no idea how much I weigh," she said. "Like, I just want to feel good and be able to zip my pants up. If I don't, I have another size. I have every size."
