Jason Momoa Shares Rare Photo Holding Hands with Girlfriend Adria Arjona While Posing with 'Supergirl' Script: 'Mi Amor'

Jason Momoa and Adria Arjona are celebrating his new DC Studios antihero role.

On Saturday, Jan. 4, Momoa, 45, shared a rare photo of him and Arjona, 32, together — the couple went public with their relationship in May — to Instagram that featured them holding hands as they stood over a campfire. Momoa posed with what appeared to be a script for his upcoming movie Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which he confirmed he will appear in as the alien bounty hunter character Lobo on Dec. 30.

"BOOM Day 3 of 2025 I AM LOBO #letsfraggingo aloha j," Momoa wrote in a caption to his photo.

Momoa has taken to frequently leaving Arjona compliments in the comments of her own Instagram posts, too; he most recently wrote, "😍😍😍mi amor," in response to a series of photos she shared on Sunday, Jan. 5.

Momoa and Arjona appear to have first met when they costarred in the 2021 Netflix film Sweet Girl. After splitting from his ex-wife Lisa Bonet in January 2022, Momoa first shared that he was "very much in a relationship" during a May 11 Comic Con festival appearance in England before going public with his and Arjona's romance.

A source told PEOPLE on Momoa's Aug. 1 birthday that he "spends a lot of time with" Arjona. "She makes him happy. She's very adventurous and down-to-earth as well," the source said at that time. "They love the outdoors and enjoy motorcycle rides."

Momoa previously portrayed Aquaman in the DC Cinematic Universe; as James Gunn strides toward re-setting DC's presence on the big screen with July's Superman, Momoa will now costar with House of the Dragon's Milly Alcock as Supergirl's title character. Momoa's new character Lobo is a violent antihero alien character from the planet Czarnia; DC Comics first introduced the character in the 1980s, and Lobo found popularity in comic book runs during the 1990s.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is directed by Craig Gillespie (Dumb Money, I, Tonya) and will also costar Matthias Schoenaerts as villain Krem of the Yellow Hill and Eve Ridley as Ruthye Mary Knolle. The movie is expected to be released in theaters June 26, 2026.

Meanwhile, Arjona is coming off a 2024 in which she appeared in movies like Hit Man, Los Frikis and Blink Twice; she is next expected to reprise her Andor role in the Disney+ Star Wars series' second season when it releases in April.
