Yahoo Lifestyle Inside WWD’s Style Suite at the Style Awards
The buzz of the Golden Globes kicked off inside WWD’s Style Suite at the inaugural Style Awards, which honored the talent behind the red carpet magic at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on Friday night.
The evening celebrated the work and style of actress and Pattern Beauty founder Tracee Ellis Ross, actress Anna Sawai, Carolina Herrera creative director Wes Gordon, fashion stylist Kate Young, hairstylist Chris Appleton, makeup artist Pati Dubroff, men’s groomer Jamie Taylor and facialist Iván Pol.

Earlier in the day inside the Style Suite, visitors — including “Love Island” star Leah Kateb — enjoyed a curated gifting experience, filled with beauty, technology and other products and WWD merchandise. Participating brands included Parfums de Marly; JVN Hair, founded by Jonathan Van Ness; Algenist; D.S. & Durga; Loop Earplugs, and Shark.
Glamsquad, the in-home service, was on-site to provide beauty prep. And Amazon Beauty offered a variety of products in hair and skin for pampering needs.
There was a charitable element to the day with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which educated guests on their mission. The nonprofit had a kids tent with plush toys set up to capture photo moments while showcasing its celebrity partners through the years, including longtime supporter Sofia Vergara.
The Style Suite also provided a moment of relaxation pre-Globes. Visitors read the pages of WWD Weekend while discussing standout, past red carpet moments from the award show.
Some familiar faces from the world of TikTok and Instagram — who have millions of followers between them — also stopped by, including actress and comedian Christina Kirkman, dancer Asia Monét, makeup artist Marjan Tabibzada and lifestyle influencer Anastazia Dupee.
