The 2025 Golden Globe Awards featured a bevy of Hollywood stars sporting their finest threads for the official kick-off to awards season in Los Angeles on Sunday. But one trend in particular stood out among the throngs of high-fashion, designer attire.

Emma Stone opted for a strapless take on the red dress at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards. The Oscar-winning “La La Land” and “Poor Things” actress debuted her new pixie cut and wore a custom gown courtesy of Louis Vuitton for her red carpet attire. The strapless dress featured a belted waist and tulip skirt. Stone’s look was curated by stylist Petra Flannery.

Dakota Fanning

Dakota Fanning brought the drama to the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet, wearing a striking gown. The draped dress featured a thigh-high slit, flowing fabric and scarf-like detail that transitioned into a dramatic train.

Ali Wong

Comedian Ali Wong went with a playful take on the red dress trend, wearing a Balenciaga couture strapless gown with a bow at the waist and bands of fabric cascading down the frock. Wong paired the dress with black opera gloves. Her look was curated by stylist Tara Swennen.

Isabella Rossellini

Isabella Rossellini opted for ornate detailing with her 2025 Golden Globes attire. The “Conclave” nominee wore an intricately embroidered red column dress with a flowing red sheer cape. Rossellini event coordinated her dress with her pointed toe shoes, creating a monochromatic effect.

Maren Morris looked to the runway for inspiration for her 2025 Golden Globes red carpet look. The country singer wore a sleeveless red dress from Carolina Herrera’s 2025 resort collection. The dress featured a long train that flowed behind the singer as she walked the red carpet.
