Imagine Dragons to Release “Live From the Hollywood Bowl” Concert Film in Theaters

The film is set to hit theaters around the world March 26 and 29

Imagine Dragons fans have something to look forward to!

On Wednesday, Feb. 5, the rock band announced their plans to release a concert film in 2025.

Imagine Dragons: Live From the Hollywood Bowl is slated for release in theaters around the world on March 26 and 29 via Trafalgar Releasing.

The cinematic event will capture the conclusion of Imagine Dragons' North American leg of their Loom World Tour in October 2024.

In the two-hour concert, performed during the final night of a four-night residency, the film features reimagined arrangements of Imagine Dragons staples like "Radioactive," "Demons," and "Believer," performed alongside the renowned Los Angeles Film Orchestra.

It also includes a "jaw-dropping fireworks crescendo and surprise finale."

"The power of Imagine Dragons in connecting with multi-generational fans across the globe is in their music and lyrics that offer hope, understanding and inclusion,” said Kymberli Frueh, Trafalgar Releasing’s senior vice president of programming and content acquisitions, in a press statement.

She added: “The magical capture from the Hollywood Bowl with symphonic arrangement of composer Inon Zur and the LA Film Orchestra offers a new backdrop to share their iconic hits across the globe in a unique special performance. Music connects us all and Imagine Dragons is masterful in doing so."

Tickets for Imagine Dragons: Live From The Hollywood Bowl (with the L.A. Film Orchestra) will go on sale beginning Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 9 a.m. ET here.

Imagine Dragons released their most recent album Loom in June 2024, which was the "Radioactive" group's first release as a trio. The band’s current lineup is frontman Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon and bassist Ben McKee.

Drummer Daniel Platzman announced his official departure from the band after more than a decade in August 2024, previously revealing he was on a hiatus from the band in March 2023.

“After an incredible journey of over a decade, I will be departing the amazing band that is Imagine Dragons,” he wrote on Instagram. “I wanted to share my deepest gratitude to you, the fans, for your unwavering support and sharing in the joy of music with me. Connecting with you all has truly been the highlight of this chapter.”

Platzman, 38, said that while away from the group, he’d been spending time focused on what he considers his “biggest passion”: making music for movies.

“I’m excited to be able to share more soon about the projects I’ve been hard at work on over the past few months centered on my biggest passion: film scoring and composing,” he wrote. “I promise you’ll be the first to know. Stay tuned.”

During their 2024 Loom Tour, the band's largest North American headlining run to date, Imagine Dragons played multiple nights in Toronto, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles.
