Former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star Woody Whitelaw has shared his surprising shower advice for the 2024 cast as they prepare to take on the jungle.
Speaking on Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne's radio show, The Pick Up, Woody offered some advice to Brittany, who will be heading to the jungle.
Woody revealed that after a few days, he decided to ditch his Speedos in the outdoor shower. However, he soon discovered that several cameras were actually watching the contestants in the shower, and the host explained that it's better to wear swimwear while bathing.
When asked about the shower situation, Woody said, "So it's an outdoor shower with very limited covering."

"You are going to have to make a choice very early on whether you are going to nude up or not. So I did go nude," he said.
"It's easier for guys," Laura responded, with Woody agreeing.
"I think it is, I truly do think it is because, like, no one wants to see me naked," Woody added. "So day three, I decided to just ditch the Speedos because I just couldn't get into the nooks and crannies, like you can when you're naked. And then when I got voted out or when I got kicked out, I went into this control room and there were, like, screens everywhere and I noticed that there were like six cameras on the shower."
"And I'd been told that there was like this unwritten rule that when someone does nude up in the shower, the cameras all go down and they don't watch," the presenter added. "But like, I could see the cameras and they were pointing straight at me and so I walk into this room and there's 20 people sitting there, and I just made the joke… I was like, 'Hey everyone, you guys know me a bit more than I know you and just so you know, the water in the shower was cold,' you know, just like a nothing joke or whatever.
"Anyway, they laughed way too loud and it was like, 'Ah, you know exactly what I'm joking about.' Then one guy gets up and he goes, 'No... In all seriousness, you did me a huge favour because when we had to pixelate your rude parts, I only needed one pixel.'"
Former Bachelor star Keira Maguire previously told the Kyle and Jackie O Show that she showered nude in the hopes that the footage would be unusable.
"The reason I showered nude is because I did see them [before her season] showing other women showering with their undies on. I’m like, 'Nope, not having it'," she said.
"It’s a ploy! If you shower naked, you KNOW you’re not going to get on [TV], but if you’re in your undies, you actually might show it," Jackie responded.
Woody's advice for Brittany
When asked what other advice he'd offer to Brittany, Woody shared his most important lesson.
"I'd say my one takeaway would be, and this is just from speaking on experience of when I was enjoying myself and not enjoying myself in there," he began. "When I wasn't enjoying myself, I was so conscious of the fact that I was being filmed, and I was thinking about what people's opinion of me would be. That’s not even [just] the campsite, you're also thinking about what Australia is thinking of you.

"And when I would get really bogged down in that, I was having a shocking time and it just really fatigues you. I'm sure that's an experience you can relate to given you've been on reality TV before."
Woody continued, "I know this seems like obvious advice, but when you're there, just act like yourself and d**k around and [remember] they’re not trying to create a scandal out of you, I don't think in this show. It's not like Married at First Sight where they're trying to get like, 'Yes, we've got Brit saying something outrageous or saying something controversial and we're going to drive that.' They actually want you to look good. So just let your guard down."
