I'm A Celebrity: First celeb going into the jungle revealed
As predicted, Brittany Hockley is entering the jungle!
As predicted, Channel Ten has announced that Brittany Hockley will be the first celebrity to enter the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.
The former Bachelor star was revealed as the first star to go to South Africa on Wednesday afternoon during her radio show The Pick Up, which is also co-hosted by Laura Byrne and Mitch Churi.
After completing a challenge where she and Laura had to find the most stars in a mystery box, it was revealed Brittany would be heading into the jungle.

"Not sure I’ve ever been overwhelmed with so many feelings before," Brittany shared after the announcement. "I’m excited, nervous, petrified, anxious and super pumped all at once! And somehow, I’m already hungry!"
Brittany will be broadcasting from the jungle as part of Jungle Radio, with exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes gossip.
Fans react to Brittany's announcement
Fans shared their excitement at Brittany's announcement, while others were sceptical that she didn't know until that moment that she'd be going to the jungle.
"Wait did she not know?" one Instagram user questioned, with another responding, "Of course she knew... Would have had to get immunisations etc up to date and get medicals done."
"Why pretend that this was even a contest? Everyone knew Brittany was going lol," a third said.
"YAYYYY Can't wait," one fan wrote, while another said they hoped Laura would also join her.
"NO WAY this way not on my 2024 bingo card," someone else added.
Ten spoils their own guessing game
Yesterday, Yahoo Lifestyle revealed that Ten had likely spoiled their own guessing game after I'm A Celebrity hosts Julia Morris and Robert Irwin appeared on The Pick Up, revealing one of the hosts would be heading into the jungle after completing a series of challenges.
However, it was clear that it would be Brittany, given they'd spent the weeks prior teasing that an "unlucky in love radio queen" would be doing the show in TV adverts.

This telling clue could only be Brittany, as Laura Byrne has been with Matt Johnson ever since the pair got together on The Bachelor in 2017.
Brittany was dumped by the Honey Badger on her season of the dating show, endured a messy split from Tim Hanly on Bachelor In Paradise and split from tennis player Jordan Thompson in 2022. She is happily loved up now with footballer Ben Siegrist.
