I'm A Celeb reveal: Laura Byrne, Brittany Hockley or Mitch Churi set to take on jungle

Some Aussie celebs got the shock of their life live on air after it was revealed that one of them would be packing their bags and heading into the African jungle for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

I'm A Celeb hosts Julia Morris and Robert Irwin appeared on The KIIS Network's The Pick Up hosted by Brittany Hockley, Laura Byrne, and Mitch Churi, and surprised the hosts by announcing that one of them would be heading into the jungle to appear on the show.

Unbeknownst to any of the trio, they expressed huge shock at the news and will be fighting it out on The Pick Up over the next few days to see who is going to be the best fit to make waves in the jungle.

Julia Morris announced the news, saying: "Well, here's the thing. Robert and I were talking about it this afternoon. We were like, we have official sign-off that we are not leaving Australia without a person from The Pick Up. We don't want to have to be the ones to decide, but I want one of you to come with us.”

"This is legit," Robert confirmed. "One of you is coming."

Julia then announced there'd be a competition running for the next couple of days to determine who would be worthy to go.

"This is insane," Brittany exclaimed. "Are you guys shook? I'm shook!"

Mitch said the trio had no idea this was happening and turned to their producer Grace who confirmed it was legit. "Are you in on this?" he asked. "Is this all legit? All above board?"

Laura, however, was less than convinced she'd be ready to hit the jungle.

“Has anyone spoken to my husband before this?" she asked. "Because that would definitely rule me out! I've got children!"

Julia assured them all that whoever was chosen to head into the jungle would have the experience "of a lifetime".

"Every celebrity that comes out, says it," she said. "Even if there's the odd one that hasn't actually had a very pleasant time, they still come out saying, ‘I'll never get that experience again. That was amazing.’”
