Let’s be real, how many times do you find yourself watching reality TV and thinking, ‘This person looks so familiar’? In the past month alone I’ve determined that The Block’s Jesse Maguire looks very similar to Freddie Prinze Jr., his co-star Kylie Baker gives off Katy Perry vibes, and FBoy Island’s Ally Woodfall is almost identical to Jamie-Lynn Spears.

Hunted Australia fans have now joined in on the fun and shared that they think one of this year’s contestants has a very famous doppelgänger. Taking to a popular Facebook group for the reality show, one viewer wrote that they’re convinced 24-year-old social media influencer and kindergarten teacher Jayde Heath looks like Margot Robbie.

Jayde told Yahoo Lifestyle that it's not the first time she has been compared to the Oscar nominee saying that she "takes it as a compliment."

"Margot Robbie is definitely one of my favourite female actresses," she says. "I don’t see the resemblance but I definitely take it as a compliment.

Despite Jayde herself saying that she doesn't think she has found her long-lost twin, Hunted fans were not backing down with their comparisons.

“This is the same person, right?” they wrote alongside a side-by-side photo of the pair.

“I am well aware that Margot Robbie and Jayde are not the same person but you cannot deny that there isn't a strong resemblance there.”

Fans quickly took to the comments to weigh in on the comparison, with a handful of people agreeing that the reality star looks similar to the Barbie actress.

“Yes. I agree, she does look like a younger Margot Robbie,” one person responded, while another added, “That's what I said last night! She looks like her”.

“I’ve been saying that,” a third remarked, followed by someone else who suggested, “Maybe Margot Robbie crossed with Madison Beer!”.

“I thought she had a similar look to Margot as well their faces are kinda similar,” a different user replied. “Once you look at them real closely you know they're different but I thought the same when she came on screen I did a double take”.

However, a majority of people argued that Jayde and Margot look “nothing like each other” and the two women are incomparable.

“Not at all,” a fan responded, with another writing, “They look completely different”.

“You need to go to Specsavers luv,” someone else joked.

“Why? Because they're both blondes!?” a different user commented, while another added, “Blonde and blue eyes. No other resemblance… different jawline and chin, different shaped nose”.

“Did she pay you to post this?” one viewer remarked.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, Jayde admits that she doesn't see the resemblance herself but is flattered that some fans can.

"I have been told that on multiple occasions out in public that people see a resemblance," she says. "She is also a born and raised Gold Coast girl."

Jayde and her best friend Tayla Hunt managed to go under the radar for a majority of their time on the run but were eventually tracked down after they used some of their stolen money to purchase a glass of wine on the ferry.

The duo were officially caught during Tuesday night’s episode when the Hunters found them hiding in an upstairs wardrobe at their friends' house.

“It was honestly amazing, we had so much fun,” Jayde told 10 Play. “Obviously it didn't turn out how we wanted to, but along the way we just had so much fun, used our brains and thought we had kind of outsmarted them.”

“Clearly not,” Tayla added with a laugh.
