Hidden detail in MAFS intruder Evelyn's racy Mardi Gras outfit

The reality TV star went all out on Saturday night.

Married At First Sight intruder Evelyn Ellis certainly turned heads over the weekend when she attended a Honey Birdette VIP party to celebrate the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

The 26-year-old model stunned in a white lingerie set with a lacy bra and underwear, thigh-high suspender stockings and pale pink heels.

Evelyn styled her long dark tresses down around her face and wore a pair of silver heart drop earrings with a silver necklace.

She also wore a pair of sheer white opera gloves, which were the exact same ones she wore at her MAFS wedding last week when she met her partner Rupert Bugden for the first time.

This comes after eagle-eyed reality TV fans noticed that Evelyn’s official wedding photo for the show featured a surprising Kmart detail.

The snap shows the bride wearing a strapless white dress and long gloves while holding a bouquet of artificial flowers sold at Kmart for just $5.50.

The detail led MAFS fans to mock Channel Nine in a Kmart Facebook page for giving Evelyn a bargain bouquet.

“Claaaassssyyyyy,” one person said, while another joked, “Must have blown their budget on intimacy week boxes that nobody used”.

'Definitely as awkward as it seemed'

Evelyn spoke openly with Yahoo Lifestyle about her TV wedding last week and revealed that the on-screen awkwardness between herself and Rupert was “true to form”.

“That couch session where me and Rupert sat on the sofas together at the wedding and I was trying to talk to him, that is exactly what happened verbatim,” she said.

“Honestly, I wanted to melt in my chair at that point in time. I actually think they cut a lot of it out, so I think they let Rupert off the hook a little bit, but it was definitely as awkward as it seemed.”

Evelyn added that there was one moment between the pair on their honeymoon that she was particularly disappointed didn’t air on TV.

“There was one part that I'm really upset they didn’t put in because it was hilarious,” she shared.

“It was me and Rupert in a field holding a chicken, and he was way more frightened of the chicken than I was. And we were screaming like little children and it was the most endearing, sweet, natural, authentic moment ever, but I guess it just didn't make the cut.”
