Halle Bailey and Ex DDG Celebrate Son Halo's First Birthday as They Share Photos from His “Cocomelon”-Themed Party: 'Greatest Gift'
DDG announced that the couple split in October
Halle Bailey and DDG are sharing their love for their son on his first birthday.
On Monday, Dec. 23, The Little Mermaid star, 24, shared a series of snaps on Instagram with her son Halo as he turned one. The celebratory post included a few cute family photos with Halo's dad, rapper DDG, from whom Bailey split in October.
"Happy birthday to my halo 🥹God gave me the greatest gift in you 💕," the proud mom shared in her caption. "Time flies when you’re having fun & mommy just can’t believe that you’re one 🎉🎉🎉🎉🥹🥹🥹🥹."

In her post, Bailey shared a few pictures from Halo's Cocomelon-themed birthday party, which included a bounce house, ball pit and an adorable cake featuring the popular YouTube channel's logo.
DDG posted to Snapchat to share a variety of clips and pictures from Halo's birthday. In one video, the little one can be seen wearing a party hat around his head while surrounded by the rapper's family on a couch. They sing him "Happy Birthday" and Halo sweetly blows out a gold candle shaped like the number one on top of a chocolate cupcake.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY HALO!!!!!!" the proud dad wrote over the video, adding, "HE GREW UP OVERNIGHT."

As the day continued, DDG documented his time at the "Halomelon" party. He enjoyed eating tacos and sipping on drinks at the "Halo Bar," and drawing at the "Halo coloring station."
The 1-year-old then began to doze off in his mom's arms, but DDG plopped in the ball pit, writing, "He tired but the party costs too much so he gotta stay up LMFAO."
He and Bailey continued to keep Halo entertained in the ball pit and bounce house, taking sweet snaps and videos along the way.
