It comes after Melissa left MasterChef to work on other projects following the shock death of her fellow judge Jock Zonfrillo last year.
Andy Allen has remained on the show and is joined by Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli. It was revealed in October last year that Melissa would not be returning to the show, with rumours she was axed from the show - something Melissa later denied.
Melissa revealed in an interview with Perth Now earlier this year that she thinks about MasterChef every day.
"I reflect on the last four years of being host and judge of MasterChef with joy, with gratitude and with maximum respect," she said. "I think about it every day as something that was a huge part of my life and continues to be a huge part of my life."
However, rumour has it that Melissa could soon have an international career, with reports she has been approached for other formats of MasterChef, including MasterChef Asia and MasterChef Singapore.

The food critic also fronts SBS' new documentary series The Hospital: In The Deep End, which starts this week.
The former MasterChef host will appear in the three-part series alongside actor Samuel Johnson and Gardening Australia's Costa Georgiadis.
The show will explore the challenges faced by the Australian public health system by going behind the scenes of one of Australia's busiest hospitals. Samuel, Melissa and Costa will work alongside staff as they help deliver frontline care and experience what it's really like working in the public health system.
