Former Home and Away star unrecognisable on magazine cover: 'Should be illegal'

Former Home and Away star Lincoln Younes has graced the cover of Men's Health magazine for the December issue and the new look is a far cry from his days as the popular Casey Braxton (may he rest in peace).

Taking on the alter ego of 'Chad', Lincoln, 32, proved he doesn't take himself all that seriously in the fun '80s style shoot as he posed with weights, bananas, juggled oranges, and balanced himself on a tipping armchair while holding a feather duster.

Lincoln opened up about his acting career and roles, after first getting his big break in City Homicide in 2009.

From there, he became a well-known name playing Casey Braxton on Home and Away, one of the very first River Boys.

While Lincoln broke the hearts of Home and Away fans when Casey was shot and killed after three years on the show, in the Men's Health interview, Lincoln opened up about his last day on Home and Away, about what life is like when leaving a hit show and not knowing what's next.

“One of the crew got on the PA and goes, 'Knock, knock.' 'Who’s there?' 'Lincoln.' 'Lincoln who?' 'That’s showbiz,'" he said of the joke.

"And one, I thought it was so funny, but two, it’s true because it’s like you’re up there, you’re doing really well, you’re killing it, and then it’s forgotten.”

Lincoln also said that the moments of growth in life as an actor are the moments in between jobs.

“You grow as a person because that is the hardest,” he said. “When you wake up and you have nothing scheduled for your week and you don’t know when money’s going to come in and you don’t have any clarity on why you didn’t get this job . . . There are so many whys, hows and what-ifs, so I think if there’s a trick with acting, and maybe life, it’s just relinquishing control of a lot of things and being okay with that.”

It's no surprise that fans are thirsty for the buff star, with some saying he was rivalling Chris Hemsworth in the 'guns' department.

"Should be illegal to be this hot," one person said. "Someone forgot to tie up his shoelaces…. bend & snap pls," another quipped.

"Oh my God …. 🫢🫣 I am way too old to be looking at this!" one shocked person commented.

In amongst all the fire react emojis, there were more compliments for Lincoln from fans and friends alike.

"This cover is everything. Also one of the nicest blokes around. Love it," someone commented. "My actual idol. Proud of you big bro," another said.
