Former Bachelorette star unrecognisable in viral TikTok: 'He's a keeper'

Former Bachelorette star Timm Hanly has won over new fans after being interviewed at LA Pride.

Former star of The Bachelorette Timm Hanly was sprung doing a Q&A at LA Pride, with the video quickly going viral as people praised him for his laidback attitude and open-mindedness.

The former reality star, who appeared on Angie Kent's season of The Bachelorette in 2019, and then Bachelor In Paradise the following year, was interviewed by someone on TikTok, with the video now garnering over 1.6 million views with the host captioning the video, "more men like him, please."

When he said he was straight and the host asked him what he was doing at Pride, Timm explained he was on a family holiday.

"I have a wife and child, you know what, we're just here from Australia, it's our second day here in America, and we just stumbled across it and I'm just here for the vibes, that's it," Timm said. "We absolutely love it!"

After being asked if the gays can host a good party, Timm established he was a big fan. "Oath, a hundred per cent," he said. "No one really does it better."

When he was asked what he would do if a gay guy was hitting on him, Timm grabbed the microphone and took charge. "Oh I love this," he said. "I feel like, let's say I'm walking down the street, and a gay guy's looking at me, like 'hmm', that's as good as a girl looking at me. That counts. That's as good for my ego as a hot chick looking at me, you know what I mean?"

The TikTok was met with thousands of comments, with some people recognising Timm and others praising his laidback attitude.
