Farmer Wants A Wife stars spark major rumour with detail in baby post

Farmer Wants A Wife couple Brad Jones and Clare Hockings have sparked engagement rumours after fans spotted a surprising detail in their recent social media post.

The season 13 success story took to Instagram this week to share a gallery of snaps celebrating their first Christmas as a family of three after welcoming their son Roy earlier this month.

“Roy's first Christmas! As you can see, he's a bit weary from all the love and cuddles he received from his family today 🥰” Clare captioned the post.

“Thanks to everyone for the well wishes, support and love we've received since he's arrived. What a Christmas present he is for us. Hope you've felt the love from your loved ones, and are recovering from overdoing the pav serving size today.”

While the first snap shows Brad, Clare and Roy standing next to their Christmas tree, it was the second photo in the gallery that caught fans' attention.

The image is a close-up of Roy wearing a blue and white gingham shirt with a woman’s left hand placed on his chest featuring a large diamond ring on her ring finger.

It didn’t take long for fans to flood the comments section with questions, including one person who wrote: “Is that a wedding ring? Did I miss something?”

“Is that an engagement ring in the second photo?” another added, while a third said, “If you look closely there are two rings, engagement and wedding?”.

However, Clare quickly cleared up the confusion and explained that it was not actually her hand in the photo.

“Yes it's an engagement ring! But it's not mine 😂” she replied.

Who else is still together from season 13?

While Brad and Clare are yet to tie the knot, their season 13 co-stars David and Emily announced in October that they are engaged.

“Incredibly proud to announce, this Farmer has found his Wife,” David wrote alongside a sweet snap of himself and Emily after he'd popped the question.

Meanwhile, Andrew and Claire are going strong post-show and adopted an adorable puppy together in June.

Fellow season 13 couple Olivia and Matt have also gone from strength to strength and recently went on their first overseas holiday together. However, Brenton and Sophie announced in August that they had sadly parted ways.

In the 16 years since Farmer Wants A Wife first premiered on Australian TV, the show has produced nine marriages and 26 babies.
