Farmer Wants A Wife star sends fans into a spin with new photo

They thrilled fans when they announced their engagement, and Farmer Wants A Wife's David McMahon and Emily are clearly enjoying every minute of their love bubble.

26-year-old Brisbane education aide Emily stole 29-year-old apple farmer David’s heart on the Channel Seven reality show, with Emily moving to David’s Pozieres farm so they can be together.

In October, the couple announced their engagement, taking to Instagram to reveal the joyous news and now, Emily's fans have been left delighted with her latest update.

In a gorgeous Instagram post, Emily can be seen wearing a white dress and bejewelled hairpiece, alongside the caption: "Bringing in the bridal era with my familia".

Fans were quick to congratulate the star, with one person writing: "So here for the bridal era !!!"

"Yessss Brideyyyy," another person wrote.

"So happy for you," a fan said, with another adding: "Stunning".

The proposal

Back in October, Farmer David posted a photo of himself and Emily just after he had popped the question, writing alongside it: "Incredibly proud to announce, this Farmer has found his Wife".

David decided the only place he could ask Emily to marry him was at Mudgee's Evamor Valley, the same place where they had their 24-hour solo date.

"There was a moment at Evamor, when we were having a glass of wine as the sun was setting and I just knew this was something special," David said in a statement to Yahoo Lifestyle. "So, it was really important for me that when l asked Em to marry me, it had to be at Evamor Valley - the spot is just such a special part of our journey."

Emily was in complete surprise when David proposed, saying, "It was just such a surreal moment - David kept the secret very well. I had absolutely no clue!"

David and Emily's love story

David and Emily captured viewers' hearts on the wholesome Channel 7 reality show, with the couple becoming besotted with each other over the weeks.

"Emily you are the most genuine person I know… I know you haven't had many serious relationships, but starting today this can be your first and hopefully your last,” David told Emily during the finale episode.

However, the show didn’t go without a hitch, with heartbroken runner-up, Lorelei, fainting when she heard David’s rejection speech.

“I came here to find love and pave a future on the farm and it breaks my heart to have to tell you… I've fallen so heavily for someone else,” David said.

Lorelei was seen looking pale and stumbling forward before a producer rushed in with a stool and some water for her to sip on.

While Lorelei may have been left devastated by David’s decision, things between him and Emily are going from strength to strength.

She opened up to 7Life about her massive move from Brisbane to David’s apple farm in Pozieres.

"I'm just so used to my routine and I knew that was going to change but I was excited to get involved with the community here... I was really fortunate that things kind of moved quickly, so nothing's been really that hard," she said.

Emily has reportedly started working at a local primary school and teaches dance classes in the community.
