Farmer Wants A Wife fans point out hilarious detail in Brad and Clare's baby snap

Just over a week after announcing the birth of their first child, Farmer Wants A Wife’s Clare Hockings has given fans an insight into what life has been like for her and her partner Brad Jones.

The former reality star took to Instagram over the weekend to share a sweet gallery of snaps celebrating her partner’s birthday.

“Happy birthday to the glue that holds our little family together and keeps us laughing along the way @farmerbradau,” she wrote.

“The last 12 months for us have been equivalent to about 5 years for most couples, but we've survived and are still smiling (although a bit sleep deprived). Roy is so lucky to have such a top dad. Happy birthday, we love you very much.”

The photo gallery shows the couple smiling together in the car, Brad walking out of the hospital with Roy in his carrier, and the family of three posing with their son in their backyard.

However, one photo that caught fans' attention is a snap of Brad wearing a cap and a green work shirt and holding up a beer while grinning next to his newborn in the hospital.

“Second photo screams ‘Aussie dad’ 😂” one follower commented.

“Dad is so smitten 💙” another added, while a third said, “You guys are the cutest little family ever”.

“You two should be so proud of yourselves, it has been a huge year!” their co-star Sophie Holcombe replied. “Lots of love to you both and HB Brad.”

Brad and Clare's love story

Brad and Clare surprised fans in June when they announced just a few weeks after their love story played out on TV that they were expecting their first child together.

Revealing the joyous news to New Idea, the couple shared their ultrasound photo and said Clare has experienced a “pretty healthy” pregnancy so far.

“We didn’t think it would happen as quickly as it did,” Brad admitted.

Clare told Yahoo Lifestyle in September that she was “feeling good” and the biggest thing she was missing was riding her horses.

“I'm lucky that Brad's been so supportive and we're excited to meet our little one soon,” she added.

Clare moved to Cootamundra in February, three months before the reunion episode went to air on Channel Seven. The 28-year-old picked up a school teacher job in the area and moved her four horses and two dogs from Tamworth over seven hours away to the southwest NSW town.
