Farmer Wants A Wife fans have pointed out one glaring detail on the announcement of the 2025 farmers. On Saturday, Channel Seven announced eight new farmers for next year's season, encouraging single ladies to apply for the show.

This year, the men range in age from 21 to 35, which has left some fans annoyed that there aren't any "older farmers" on the show. The hopeful farmers include Farmer Jarrad, 21; Farmer Corey, 24; Farmer Chooka, 25; Farmer Jack, 26; Farmer Jack L, 26; Farmer Reidy, 28; Farmer Tom, 31; and Farmer Thomas, 35.

Fans were quick to share their thoughts, with one user writing, "One 35 and one 31 the rest are babies... ridiculous! Where are the older farmers??"

"Why [does] a 20 yr old need help to find a wife 🙃," another said.

"You sure the show's [not] changing names to 'farmer wants a mum' these boys are babies 😂😂😂 none of which will be ready for marriage lmfao," a third added.

"Young bucks again, no doubt decent people. But where are the mature men in their 40s and above?" someone else wrote.

"All too young. Minus the 2 Toms," yet another said. "Find some older single men and you’ll get some beautiful, genuine ladies. #ridiculous."

"Majority are too young for marriage!! It's a joke!" someone else agreed.

"Good luck - the last few series have been total rubbish," one very unenthusiastic user said.

Others loved the look of the new farmers, with one fan writing, "Bring it on!"

"Should we finally do it this year?" another asked their friend.

"There is not a single wrong option here let’s do it," a third said, tagging a friend.

"It’s my time to find love, I am applying," someone else said.

The youngest farmer of the group, Farmer Jarrad, 21, describes himself as: "I am a goofy creative that loves to have a good time, loves working hard and I’m definitely not shy! I’ll also send you crazy from singing too much."

When asked what kind of person he's looking for, he said, "They have to be as boisterous as I am, and pull me into line if I’m being too much of a clown. They’ve got to be able to have fun – life’s too short and too serious so I’m a bit goofy, they need to be a bit goofy too."

His interests include American sports, cooking and movies and the theatre, oh and he's a singer!

What do you think? Is he ready for marriage?

Last year, fans of the show felt similarly about Farmer Tom, who was 22 when he was cast, with many left annoyed that most of the farmers were under the age of 30.

Farmer Joe, Farmer Dustin and Farmer Todd are the only farmers from last year's season who are still with their chosen women after Farmer Bert left the show alone, and Farmer Tom and Farmer Dean split with their ladies.

Farmer Wants A Wife is very successful in Australia. The show has brought together many couples, including nine marriages and 21 children.
