Farmer Wants A Wife couple announce exciting news

2023 Farmer Wants A Wife success story Andrew Coleman and Claire Saunders have announced they're engaged proving that reality TV love is not dead.

The happy couple met on last year's season of FWAW and it was clear from the start they had a strong connection, leaving the show early after Andrew decided Claire was the only woman he wanted to pursue.

Since then, Claire has settled into farm life with Andrew on his sheep and crop farm in Narromine.

Uploading the happy news of their engagement to Instagram, the couple simply captioned the photo with the date they got engaged: 17.03.24.

Claire and Andrew's journey to love

Claire and Andrew celebrated their official one-year anniversary in December last year, after meeting in 2022 for the 2023 series of Farmer Wants A Wife.

On the show, Andrew surprised fans when he sent home his other matches after falling for Claire straight away. The farmer confessed to Claire that he was falling in love with her, not long after they had spent their 24-hour date together and told her she was the only one he wanted to pursue.

"I'm definitely falling in love with you too, I didn't expect any of this to happen. I'm pretty chuffed," she said.

While on the show, Andrew had also surprised Claire with a poem he had written her, saying he had even surprised himself with how romantic he could be.

Since the filming and airing of the show, the two have gone from strength to strength, often giving fans a look into their life on the farm together on Instagram.

The 2024 season is just around the corner and we’ve been introduced to the five farmers ready to find love, with the first trailer already teasing plenty of drama.

The season air date has yet to be announced.
