It seems Hoda Kotb just can’t stay away from her Today show family.
The Today With Hoda & Jenna alum stopped by her former stomping grounds to surprise Jenna Bush Hager, guest co-host Dwayne Wade and more of her former colleagues. “We had the best surprise in our briefing meeting this morning!!,” the show captioned an Instagram video showing Hoda going around the room giving out hugs and sharing smiles.
“What is happening? I FaceTimed you today!” Jenna says in the video, expressing her shock as she reaches out to hug Hoda.
Upon seeing this reunion online, fans immediately took to the comments to share their elation over the sweet moment.
“First person to leave and always be welcomed back so easily and with love!” one fan observed. “Hoda is a bright light!!!!”
“She is sunshine and all the good things,” a different viewer added. “This whole group honestly!”
“What a great surprise. Hoda is pure sunshine!” a third fan wrote.
Fans might know that this isn't the first time Hoda has made her way back to the Today show since her official exit in January 2025. Earlier this month, she revealed news of her next career venture on the Today show. At the time, she came on the air to announce that her new book, Jump and Find Joy: Embracing Change in Every Season of Life, will be released this fall.
One thing's for sure: We always love seeing Hoda back with the Today crew. We can't wait to see when she'll return next — and what she'll have to share with us then!
