Cheap Aldi item caravan owners love for common sleep issue: 'Just bought two'
This incredibly easy Aldi hack has helped a travelling couple to cool down their caravan at night.
Having a home on wheels sounds like a pretty fun concept, right? Falling asleep to the sound of the waves at the beach, waking up, going for a dip and enjoying your morning coffee... It sounds like a dream.
But living in those beautiful areas in Australia can come with one negative – the heat, especially when you're trying to sleep! There's truly nothing worse than spending the night tossing and turning and struggling to doze off because you feel like you're lying in a pool of your own sweat.
Well, one Aldi shopper has revealed their cost-effective must-have item for those hot nights in their caravan, providing an affordable and effective solution to this very problem.
"We have put the Aldi battery fans above our bed," one clever caravan owner shared online. "Great idea if you don’t want to spend the money on the more expensive kind."
She shared a photo of two fans hanging from the inside of the cupboard above the bed, providing some relief for both sides of the bed.

The idea went over extremely well with several people expressing admiration and excitement for the simple trick.
"Love the idea of inside the cupboard," a fellow caravanner wrote in reply.
"Wonderful idea - we have these fans, but I was not sure how to hang them," another added.
"We’ve just bought two for our trip to WA," a third wrote.
"Great idea! Is there anything Aldi can’t do?" someone else said.
"Wow simple [and] bloody great idea we are doing this now with our USB fan... thanks heaps," another added.
"Brilliant idea!!! I love it thanks for sharing," yet another said.
Another questioned if the fans were noisy, to which one person replied, "No not at all they have a light in them, too, if you need it."
"The more expensive ones are overrated anyway," another quipped.
If you're unable to find the fans at your local Aldi, there is a similar one on Amazon that is rechargeable and retails for $29.98.
It has scored 4.3 out of 5 stars, and some purchasers said that they liked the fact you can use the fan to charge your phone as well – we love an extra use!
Temu hack for keeping caravans cool
Another family found a handy way to keep the heat down in their campervan by covering up their sunroof with a handy cover from Temu, with Mum Emma Zealey telling Yahoo Lifestyle that she thinks the interior temperature "could be 10–15°C higher" without the $12.50 cover.

Emma says the RV sunroof ventilation cover fits perfectly over the hatch in their bathroom, which has no built-in shade, saying that she was thrilled with the bargain find.
"We’ve noticed a significant temperature difference, particularly in the kids' bunk area, since the bathroom is in close proximity," she said. "It’s made a noticeable improvement in keeping the van cooler."
