Emma Stone Debuted a Super Short Pixie Cut at the 2025 Golden Globes
It's giving Twiggy.
Emma Stone is kicking off awards show season with a whole new look. The actress showed up to the 2025 Golden Globes alongside her husband, Dave McCary, looking almost unrecognizable with her shortest hairstyle yet.
Debuting a pixie cut à la Twiggy on the red carpet, Stone's signature auburn locks were completely chopped off and featured textured pieces at the forehead and down the sides. She paired her new hair with a strapless red gown with a column silhouette and a matching satin belt cinched at the waist. With her shaved head stealing the show, the Poor Things star accessorized minimally, adding just a pair of gold earrings to her look.
Her glam was also pared-back with a deep pink lip and swipe of rose-colored blush.
It's believed that Stone shaved her head for her latest Yorgos Lanthimos-directed project, Bugonia, which is set to be released later this year. The actress has also starred in Lanthimos's The Favourite, Poor Things, and Kinds of Kindness.
Back in October, Stone was seen in New York City filming with a navy blue beanie firmly placed on her head, leading fans to believe that she shaved her head for the role. Her fitted hat wasn't the only clue. Just a day before her NYC sighting, she attended the 2024 New York Film Festival on October 5, and in a clip posted on X, she could be seen adjusting a wig.
