“I wear blazers all the time: I wear them on the plane, I wear them to go out for drinks, I wear them to take my son to school.…Balancing something masculine with something feminine is always a central part of my styling and with this collection I think you can really play with that,” Ratajkowski said.

The iterations of the wardrobe staple she designed will range from an office-ready oversize blazer jacket to a double-breasted version that could work as a minidress, too, passing through fancier takes, including those crafted in denim or napa leather as well as a version with a seductive cutout on the back.

In addition to the different textures and weights, the collection will come with a color palette swinging from classic black and blue to white and popping red accents. Each piece will also feature subtle details, such as a dedicated label and a removable brooch shaped as a rose, which is a recurring motif of the Italian brand.

The capsule collection will hit the Marella stores and e-commerce with prices ranging from $550 for the denim blazer jacket to $900 for the leather style.

After cutting the ribbon of its new store in Paris — which doubled its presence in the city while debuting a new design concept — the company is set to open its first flagship in Munich and a shop-in-shop at Harrods in the short term.

Other openings will include a second unit in Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh, and its first one in Cairo. In the first quarter of 2025, the brand will add two corners at Bloomingdale’s — bringing its total count to 10 — and unveil its first location in the Canadian market with a door in Vancouver.

The units will carry the brand’s contemporary styles, its hero products like blazers and dresses, as well as accessories and codesigned capsule collections.

As for the Emily Ratajkowski x Marella one, this will be promoted through a dedicated campaign portraying the model and “My Body” author against Lake Como’s natural landscape.
