Dancing With The Stars announces cast for 2022 All Stars season
Dancing With The Stars is officially returning in 2022 with a number of familiar faces heading back to the dance floor for another chance to win the prestigious mirror ball trophy.
Similar to Season 18 earlier this year, the upcoming season will be an ‘All Stars’ edition featuring a number of winners, finalists and fan favourites.
The former champions competing for the second time include TV personality Grant Denyer from Season 4 in 2006, actress Bridie Carter from Season 7 in 2007 and ex-AFL players Anthony Koutoufides from Season 5 in 2006 and David Rodan from Season 14 in 2014.
Other returning contestants include singer Ricki-Lee, actor Rob Mills, and The Morning Show co-host Kylie Gillies.

The Channel Seven series will also feature celebrities who competed on the show during its brief stint on Channel Ten in 2019 and 2020, including reality TV star Angie Kent, entertainer Courtney Act and actress Olympia Valance.
This season’s wildcard entrants are Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac, model and TV presenter Kris Smith, musician Deni Hines and actor Cameron Daddo.
Daryl Somers and Sonia Kruger will return as the show’s hosts, as well as judges Todd McKenney, Helen Richey, Paul Mercurio and Mark Wilson.
Seven Network Programming Director, Angus Ross, said in a statement: “The first season of All Stars was the perfect mix of entertainment, celebrity and fierce competition, proving a stand-out hit with Australian audiences.
“We have a fantastic cast ready to hit the dance floor for season two. With a history of multiple perfect scores in the ranks, it’s going to be a brilliant series.”
Since the announcement, a number of cast members have taken to social media to express their excitement.
“What a cast! This is going to be so much fun!” Courtney Act wrote, while Kylie Gillies added, “Here we go again!”.
Fans have also shared their thoughts about the casting news online, with many saying they can’t wait for the series to kick off.
“This is so exciting, great list of people! Something to look forward to!” one fan commented.
“Can't wait to see them all on the dance floor!” another added, while a third said, “So happy it’s back, love this show.”
“Just the show to lift everyone's spirits,” someone else remarked.
