Reigning champion Shaynna Blaze expressed her excitement by commenting “fantastic” on the casting announcement, followed by former competitor Martha Kalifatidis who replied with a series of clapping hand emojis.

“Brilliant!” one fan wrote. “Look forward to watching.”

“So excited to see Turia Pitt working up a storm,” another added, while a third shared, “Yay Will and Woody!”.

There are also rumours that the next season of Celebrity Apprentice will feature former contestants competing for a second time.

Season four winner Sophie Monk recently spoke to Yahoo Lifestyle about the gossip and whether she’d be keen to participate in an ‘all stars’ format.

“No because I won’t win,” she laughed. “It's a tough show that one. I worked so much, it was incredible.

“Would I go in it again? Never say never, but I don't know. It’s a lot of work.”

The news about the 2022 season comes shortly after Celebrity Apprentice boss Lord Sugar told his followers on Twitter that he was quarantining in Sydney for two weeks.

“Nice view from the 21st floor,” he captioned a video showing his surroundings from the Sheraton hotel.

Channel Nine confirmed to Yahoo Lifestyle that Lord Sugar arrived in Australia last week to film the upcoming season of the popular series.
