Bunnings shopper reveals texts that busted cheating boyfriend

A Bunnings shopper and TikTok user has gone viral after she discovered her boyfriend was cheating and searched the retailer for boxes to pack up his stuff.

New Zealander Amy Marie, shared a number of hilarious videos of herself after finding out her partner had cheated on her after receiving a message from the man's ex-girlfriend who revealed they'd been sleeping together ever since they'd split up.

"So I'm just at Bunnings, I'm trying to find the aisle where you pack your cheating partner's s***," she joked. "Um could I please have the aisle for cheating partner? I need to pack his s***. Thank you."

In a second video, she shared how a Bunnings worker gave her advice on the breakup.

"So, I'm at Bunnings, and the man just said to me, 'Oh no, it's dreadful to have to move house.' And I turned to him and said 'Oh no, I'm not going anywhere. I'm actually packing up all of my cheating ex's stuff. I'm staying put,'" she said.

"Then he goes, 'Well why are you doing that?' and I was like, 'What? You mean packing his stuff and not chucking it on the lawn?' Oh man, he has a point."

TikTok users commented on the video, with many agreeing with the Bunnings worker.

"He's definitely got a point," one wrote.

"Put it on the lawn and mow over it," another added.

"Don't waste money on boxes, rubbish bags will do the job," someone else wrote.

Amy later shared a photo of the message she received from her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend, which read, "Sorry to be random but [man's name] is your boyfriend right?

"Cause your man's just left my house at 4:10am saying [you're not] together [you're] only friends, you are worth more love an you don't deserve to be mind f***ed around with him, btw I'm his ex the girl that he has been f***ing around with since from the time we broke up all the way up till now, I'm only telling you this cause I'm tired of him messaging or coming to see me when he working at night."

Amy very quickly found the positives to the situation, sharing another video of herself finding how much storage space she now has after clearing all of his things out.

"Let's just take a moment to realise how much storage space I now have. All of these [drawers] are empty. I now have half of my wardrobe back," she said.

"I no longer just have to use half of it... I now have a f***ing wardrobe."

In another update, Amy said her ex asked to have a look through the house to make sure she didn't miss anything, but she wouldn't let him, saying, "I've packed it all!"

He then asked if he could go through the house and "have one last smell", which left commenters very confused.

"What the hell is wrong with him?" one asked.

"Oh no, he's making any excuse to stay in there a little longer," another added.
