Bride's insane breakup story goes viral
It's a tale as old as time: Boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love, boy asks girl to marry him, they get married and then the next day boy dumps girl because his mum told him to.
Well, maybe it's not that old. But it is what happened to one woman, who shared her story on TikTok.
Get ready, because this is a wild ride...
User Jillian_Diana shared her story, which followed the theme where you put a finger down for everything you've experienced before.
She said, "Put a finger down if you had the most beautiful, amazing beach wedding on a private island in Mexico. But 24 hours after, your mother-in-law held an intervention for your husband, because she said it was unfair how much attention he was giving to you and that he should be giving it to her instead.

“And that he had to pick between you and her and then she slapped you across the face, told you that you were a little bitch and she hates you. So he took off his wedding ring and dumped you literally the day after your wedding.
“And then when you flew home from Mexico, it was coronavirus and everyone had to quarantine, except for his family, who banned him from seeing you or coming to your guys' apartment where you lived at all.
"And then he ended up kicking you out of that apartment so he could have secret sleepovers with his sister, in the same bed, which you thought was really weird.”
It gets stranger, she continued, "And then he told you that he wanted a divorce, but that he was going to be moving to the circus in South Africa for three years, so that you had to be stuck married to him for the next three years of your life.
“So, you got a new phone number, blocked him on everything, but then he started making a ton of fake Instagram accounts, trying to catfish you and harass you. And then ended up finding out where you went to the gym, showed up at your gym and then brought you a pet fish and told everyone that you were psycho and a stalker."
After all that, she put one finger down and said, "Think it's just me."
The video, which has been viewed almost 14 million times, was quickly flooded with comments.
One user wrote, "I'M SCREEEAAAMINNGG THAT WENT WAY FURTHER THAN I EXPECTED."
Another added, "This family sounds so TOXIC I want to hear more story times on this. How were there no red flags?"
Someone else wrote, "There were no red flags before the wedding?!? I mean, sounds like you dodged a bullet."
Another joked, "At no point during this did I know where the story was going."
"I just have so many questions. But I'll start with, 'Did you accept the fish?'" one user joked.
"I'd watch this Lifetime movie," someone else wrote.
The day after sharing the video, Jillian took to TikTok once again to answer questions about why she didn't get an annulment, to which she responded, "Obviously, I would have if I could, but it's not something that exists in [British Columbia], it's not something that you can do.
"You have to be living apart for one full year and have to both be living in BC before you can file for divorce. So that is why, trust me I have done my fair share of research on it."
Not sure many people could top that story!
