Bindi Irwin pays tribute to late dad Steve on his birthday: 'Your legacy lives on'
Bindi Irwin has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to her late father Steve on what would have been his 60th birthday.
The 23-year-old shared a sweet photo of herself as young kid with her late father, writing, "Happy Birthday to the greatest dad and Wildlife Warrior. Today I’ll watch 'The Crocodile Hunter' with Grace Warrior and share stories about her incredible Grandpa Crocodile.
"I love you with all my heart. Your legacy lives on."
Steve sadly passed away in September 2006 after he was pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming a documentary in Queensland.

Bindi Irwin reveals how daughter Grace is carrying on Steve's legacy
Bindi welcomed Grace Warrior into the world in March last year, one year after tying the knot with her now-husband Chandler Powell.
It comes after Bindi revealed she had gotten a tattoo in honour of her father and Grace Warrior on the inside of her left wrist that reads "graceful warrior" in Steve's handwriting with an illustration of a crocodile.
"The words I spoke to our daughter as I held her for the first time in my arms were, ‘my graceful warrior’. That’s how her name was born," Bindi shared with her followers.
"This is my dad’s handwriting to keep him with me, always. Our dear alligator, Daisy, is next to these words to represent our conservation work as Wildlife Warriors."
Bindi also got a tattoo on her ring finger, saying the tattoos represent the three most important things in her life: "Family, purpose and unconditional love."
Speaking of the first tattoo on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Bindi said: "I got 'graceful warrior' tattooed on my arm with my dad's writing so that my beautiful daughter and my dad could always be together and be with me."
When Grace was born, Bindi revealed that her two middle names Warrior Irwin were a tribute to her father's legacy as "the most incredible wildlife warrior".
