What the Best Actress and Supporting Actress Winners Wore at Golden Globes 2025: Demi Moore in Armani Privé, Anna Sawai in Dior and More

Shades of blue and sparkling embellishments were trending among the winners’ circle at the 2025 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills on Sunday. Multiple stars, including Demi Moore, Jessica Gunning and Zoe Saldaña took home their first-ever awards, while others, like Jodie Foster and Jean Smart, added new trophies to their resumés.

Moore modeled a strapless champagne silk gown by Armani Privé, which featured a mermaid skirt and Swarovski crystal embellishments. Cartier jewelry and Christian Louboutin heels completed her look.

The actress was dressed by Brad Goreski, while hairdresser Dimitris Giannetos styled her long black tresses in a side part with waves. Finally, makeup artist Rokael Lizama gave her metallic eyeshadow and rosy blush.

Moore received her first Golden Globe for “The Substance,” taking home Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy.

Zoe Saldaña

Saldaña sparkled in a chocolate brown strapless dress by Saint Laurent. Featuring a plunging bodice, it also came with a matching silk taffeta cape. She accessorized with a pair of the label’s satin La Scandale platform sandals and Cartier jewelry.

Saldaña wore her hair in a sleek bun courtesy of Mara Roz, and her red carpet look was curated by Petra Flannery, who also counts Amy Adams and Reese Witherspoon as clients.

Saldaña became a first-time Golden Globe winner, receiving the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for starring in “Emilia Perez.”

Jean Smart

Jean Smart selected a blue Rhea Costa dress made from crepe and taffeta. The actress was assisted by stylist Micah Schifman, while hairdresser Richard Martin crafted her voluminous updo. Smart’s makeup, done by artist Keith Sayer, consisted of pewter eyeshadow and a glossy rose-mauve lip.

Smart won her second Golden Globe for the Max series “Hacks,” accepting the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series — Musical or Comedy.

Jodie Foster

Jodie Foster sported a black Dior shift embellished with pearlescent beads. Elizabeth Saltzman, who also dresses Jodie Comer and Julia Garner, styled Foster for the occasion.

Foster is the recipient of several Golden Globes, with 2025 marking her first win in the category of Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for “True Detective: Night Country.”

Jessica Gunning

Gunning, who won her first Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role on Television for “Baby Reindeer,” wore a blue velvet off-the-shoulder gown.

Fernanda Torres

Fernanda Torres donned an Olivier Theyskens dress with sheer sleeves and a high neckline. The Brazilian star, who took home her first Golden Globe for “I’m Still Here,” won Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama.

Anna Sawai

Anna Sawai modeled a white Dior column gown with a leather bustier and a satin wraparound skirt. She accessorized with Cartier jewelry. Stylist Karla Welch, whose other clients include Sarah Paulson and Olivia Wilde, dressed Sawai for the evening.

Hairdresser Yukari Obayashi Bush styled the actress’ black hair in a sleek ponytail, while makeup artist Anh Co Tran gave Sawai winged eyeliner and rosy blush.

Sawai became a first-time Golden Globe winner, accepting the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series — Drama for “Shōgun.”

The 2025 Golden Globes ceremony celebrates over eight decades of honoring entertainment excellence. Broadcast on CBS and hosted by Nikki Glaser, this year’s event featured 27 categories, including drama, comedy and limited series.
