The Bachelor Trailer: Grant Raps and Sings His Way Into the Ladies’ Hearts (But There’s Drama, Too, Of Course)
Still feeling the warm and fuzzy vibes from that Golden Bachelorette finale? Well, shake ’em off, because it’s time for some good old-fashioned drama on a new season of The Bachelor.
ABC has offered us a sneak peek at the upcoming season, with Jenn’s ex Grant handing out the roses, and he seems to win over his bevy of ladies right away. “Tall, handsome, smart,” one girls lists off, before labeling him the “hottest Bachelor ever.” (Jesse Palmer can hear you, you know.) “Where did y’all find this man?” another girl marvels as Grant sweeps his date off her feet on a romantic Cinderella-style date.

Grant’s got bars, too: He raps on stage at a group date before taking to the piano and crooning a tune on a one-on-one date. “Music is a very integral part in being able to express myself,” Grant says before professing that he’s “ready to find my wife. I’m ready to have kids. I’m ready for everything.” His date is impressed: “I am not used to dating emotional guys that, like, write you songs and play the piano.”
But it’s not all smiles and rainbows. This is The Bachelor! So of course, there are women crying and fighting for time with Grant. One woman shouts at another: “You wanna talk about aggressive? You’re aggressive!” (And yeah, she does sound a little aggressive.) “I will kick her ass,” she adds. “I’m not kidding you.” Oh, we don’t doubt her! Another potential villain waltzes up the stairs while singing to herself: “I guess I’m crazy and evil…” Plus, one of the girls declares she was “backstabbed” by another girl: “You did me dirty.”
And most worrisome of all: Grant doesn’t seem to be able to make up his mind. He tells Jesse that “I don’t know” which girl to choose when it’s down to the final two (!). Jesse reminds him: “We’ve got both women. They’re here on standby. And of course, I have to know which one to send first.” Yikes… we’re cringing already.
Grant’s season of The Bachelor debuts Monday, Jan. 27 at 8/7c on ABC. Press PLAY below for a sneak peek, and tell us what you’re hoping to see in the comments.
