Bachelor 2023 stars told to 'stay away' from 'embarrassing' MAFS cast
The cast of the upcoming season of The Bachelor has been issued a warning by Channel Ten to keep their distance from the “embarrassing” stars of Married At First Sight, according to Daily Mail.
A source told the publication that all of the contestants, as well as the three leading men, were sent an email telling them “to stay away from the stars of MAFS”.
“It said they were embarrassing, and if we wanted our [Instagram] blue ticks and $5,000 bonus, we had to stay away from any events or other reality stars,” they claimed.
Similar to last year’s season of The Bachelor, it’s believed that the season ten contestants will receive a $5000 bonus and Instagram verification if they stick to their contract.
Yahoo Lifestyle has contacted Channel Ten for comment.

The claim comes shortly after one of the show’s stars Jed McIntosh was spotted hanging out with the season nine cast of MAFS at a celebrity boxing match over the weekend.
The 25-year-old drummer was seated on Daniel Holmes’ table to watch his fight against Brent Vitiello and socialised with grooms Cody Bromley, Anthony Cincotta and Matt Ridley.
Jed was also photographed having what appeared to be a flirty conversation with Olivia Frazer, with the pair sharing a hug before engaging in deep conversation.
‘It was all a surprise’
Meanwhile, a contestant from the new season of The Bachelor is at risk of losing her $5000 after she was spotted on the set of Married At First Sight.
Daily Mail revealed that Perth-based bachelorette Jessica Tomlinson was recently photographed attending the wedding of her close friend Bronte Schofield in Western Sydney.
This incident will likely affect her contract with Warner Bros., which states that she must not appear on another television or media program without the network's written consent.
According to a friend, Jessica was “devastated” when a producer called her asking for an explanation and told her that she might not receive her bonus of $5000.
“She had no idea she was going on the show, it was all a surprise,” they claimed. “They came at her hard.”
Although it’s been a few months since the tenth season of The Bachelor wrapped filming, the show is set to premiere on Channel Ten on January 2.
