Angelina Jolie and Zahara Jolie had another moving mother-daughter red carpet moment.

At the 2025 Golden Globes on Jan. 5, the 49-year-old actress appeared at the Los Angeles awards ceremony in a beaded Alexander McQueen gown. The floor-length dress featured a few sheer panels and all-over beads and crystals for plenty of drama for her big night.

Angelina showed off her new bangs and kept her makeup simple. Her daughter Zahara, 19, wore a coordinating gown, hers white with a black tree-like pattern on one side. She wore her long hair swept back off her face.

Angelina is nominated for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture – drama for her role in Maria. This is her ninth nomination, and she's previously won three times. She won three years in a row, in 1998, 1999 and 2000 for George Wallace, Gia and Girl, Interrupted.

In a recent Good Morning America interview with Michael Strahan, the actress opened up about her transformation into Maria Callas, which involved seven months of vocal training. The film, directed by Pablo Larraín (who also directed Jackie), features Angelina's own vocals blended with real-life recordings of Callas' singing.

Strahan, 52, asked her to elaborate on describing her opera lessons as "therapy" in a clip shared exclusively with PEOPLE.

"We all don't realize that different things that happen to us in our life — I know you've been through many things — we hold them in our body," the actress said. "Everything is just locked somewhere to help us keep going. And so to really sing, and sing very fully, you have to unlock all of that."

She continued, "So my first lesson, I took a deep breath and just cried... and then left!"

As the biopic has made the festival rounds, Angelina's signature red carpet glamour shined as well.

At the Governor's Awards in Los Angeles, Calif., on Nov. 17, the star posed alongside her son Knox Jolie-Pitt. Angelina wore a long cream and gold dress while the 16-year-old sported a shaved head and black suit, accessorizing with a black bow tie.

For the film's L.A. premiere on Oct. 26, Angelina rocked a rare curly hairstyle and bright red lipstick. The pumped-up glam perfectly complemented her long nude-colored silk gown and lightweight shawl-style black jacket.

At the Palm Springs International Film Awards on Jan. 3, Angelina stepped out with Zahara by her side. At the event, the actress was honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Award, and for the occasion — the first major event since her divorce from ex-husband Brad Pitt was finalized — she wore a black floor-length gown with a halter neck. Zahara contrasted her look with an all-white floor-length gown.

The two walked the red carpet together, holding hands and posing for photos for Angelina's big night. Angelina's godmother, Jacqueline Bisset, presented the actress with the award.
