Zendaya's Family Has the Funniest Nickname for Tom Holland

Zendaya and Tom Holland may have just gotten engaged in December, but it seems that the actor is already a part of the family. Over the weekend, Zendaya and Holland visited her family in Oakland, and a new video shared to X revealed her family and friend's hilarious nickname for her fiancé. According to the footage, her inner circle refers to Holland as his super-hero alias: Spider-man.

In the clip, someone asks Zendaya how to say "I love you," in sign language. After Zendaya obliges the cinematographer flips the camera to film Holland saying, "Oh, hold on, let me get Spider-Man."

In a different portion of the video, Holland can be seen holding a baby with the caption, "The real Spider-Man. Facts."

Earlier this year, Zendaya revealed that she and Holland were engaged during the 2025 Golden Globes. The actress, who was nominated for her role as Tashi Duncan in Challengers, debuted her new ring on the red carpet, sparking engagement rumors. Eventually, the exciting news was confirmed by multiple outlets, and a source told Us Weekly that the couple were over the moon. "Zendaya tried to keep it a secret but was very excited to show off her ring," the insider said about her appearance at the Globes. “She didn’t think people would notice but didn’t care either way.”

Holland is equally as excited, according to People. “Tom’s always had this sweet way of letting the world know that Zendaya is his," a source told the outlet. "Now, it’s official—she really is!”

"He's always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one," the source added. "They have something very special."
