The pop culture galaxies surrounding the Recording Academy and America's Next Top Model crossed over at Sunday's Grammys ceremony — and it wasn't to honor cycle 6 star Jade Cole's exit poem "Leftover Lady" with the Best Spoken Word award it deserved back in 2006.

Fans of the classic Tyra Banks-created reality competition series watching the Grammys at home might've done a double-take during the live telecast, as one of the permanent presenters who accompanied stars like Taylor Swift, Diana Ross, Cardi B, and more to the stage during the event was none other than cycle 11's first-eliminated model, Sharaun Brown.

The former ANTM contestant found herself at the center of several memes during the show, as Swift grabbed her hand in excitement and held it for the remainder of the segment, after presenting (a clearly shocked) Beyoncé with the award for Best Country Album.

Brown later stood next to recording legend Diana Ross as the 80-year-old announced Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" as the Record of the Year winner, and even approached Ross to get her attention, noting that Lamar would walk out from backstage to accept his trophy instead of walking up from the audience.

Brown was also present during the presentation of the Best Rap Album award, which saw Cardi B present the award to up-and-coming rapper Doechii.

On her Instagram account, Brown listed her Grammys title as an official "Trophy Model Presenter" during the ceremony, and later celebrated being in the presence of both Swift and Beyoncé when the latter became the first Black artist to win Best Country Album in Grammys history.

"I’m Grateful to be apart of such an Iconic Grammy moment with Two Biggest Female Singers in the World, @taylorswift and @beyonce !" Brown wrote in a photo caption underneath an image of herself holding Swift's hand while Beyoncé spoke. "Congratulations Beyonce on winning Best Country Album! Continue to break barriers! This is Epic and so well deserved!"

Brown first rose to national prominence on cycle 11 of ANTM in 2008, on which she finished in 14th place. She was eliminated first among the cast of model hopefuls, following a photo challenge inspired by voting and political issues.

Though ANTM was never formally canceled following its 24-cycle run that kicked off in 2003, the show hasn't aired a new season since 2018. Though Banks previously told Entertainment Weekly she wanted to revive the show for cycle 25 (potentially with all-star contestants returning for another shot at the title), EW later exclusively learned in May 2024 that Banks — who's currently at work expanding her SMiZE cream dessert empire — no longer had plans to film a new cycle.
