Eight years after the first movie, Moana (Auli'i Cravalho) is back for a new adventure along with Maui (Dwayne Johnson) into the far seas of Oceania after she gets a calling from her ancestors, in Moana 2. Also in theaters: Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey star in Luca Guadagnino's Queer. On streaming, Kiernan Shipka and Nico Hiraga star in Sweethearts, a modern-day take on When Harry Met Sally. And Ben Stiller stars in the holiday movie Nutcrackers.

On TV, Colman Domingo leads his first-ever series, the conspiracy thriller The Madness, and Richard Gere, Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, and Jodie Turner-Smith are among the cast of the political thriller The Agency.
