Following Fiona Harvey's interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, the internet was awash with commentary about whether her version of events is true. Fiona is being accused of being the woman who inspired the Netflix series Baby Reindeer, which details comedian Richard Gadd's experience with being stalked.

Fans of the show were quick to draw comparisons between the character 'Martha Scott' (played by Jessica Gunning) and Fiona after finding her past online presence, which included tweets sent to Gadd in 2014. Since being 'revealed' as the alleged real-life Martha, Fiona has been vocal about her innocence, insisting that she barely knows Gadd and never did the things depicted in the hit series.

Speaking to Piers Morgan in her first TV interview, Fiona called Gadd's version of events "nonsense" and even suggested that she had been the one to turn his sexual proposition down.

While many viewers expressed that they felt she was lying and that they believed even more now that the events depicted in Baby Reindeer were true, there was a large number of people who were more fixated on Martha Scott or, more accurately, the actress who plays her.

"As soon as she started talking, I laughed my a** off,' one person wrote on YouTube. "It's her 100%. [The] actress who played her did a PHENOMENONAL [sic] job!"

"If the actress who played Martha doesn’t win the Emmy I’m rioting, she nailed it," another said.

"So we agree Jessica Gunning deserves all the awards right? #BabyReindeer #FionaHarvey wow," someone wrote on X.

"After watching Piers Morgan it only solidifies the fact that Jessica Gunning deserves AWARDS. Plural," a different viewer said.

"Jessica Gunning deserves an Oscar for her portrayal of 'Martha'," another insisted.

"Give Jessica Gunning her Emmy now," demanded a different viewer.

The praise continued as another fan wrote, "Can we please get Jessica Gunning all of the awards for playing Martha in #BabyReindeer? What an absolute star."

"Omg give Jessica Gunning (Martha) her Oscar right now," posted another.

"Jessica Gunning. The actress that you are," someone added with a picture of Jimmy Kimmel holding an Emmy statuette. "Wow. I already highly rated before this - but now even more so. #BabyReindeer #MarthaUncensored"

Yet another raved, "Give Jessica Gunning that Emmy now because she got that woman spot on!"

And another still wrote, "If you watched the Netflix series Baby Reindeer, and you are ALSO watching the real interview with Martha (Fiona Harvey) by Piers Morgan, then you probably agree that Jessica Gunning deserves EVERY ACTING AWARD IN THE HISTORY OF EVER for her SPOT-ON performance. WOWZERS."

The accolades kept pouring in, with viewers calling Jessica's performance "spot on", "scary good"," "brilliant", and "unforgettable."

Although Fiona went on Piers Morgan Uncensored to share her perspective and try to clear her name, inconsistencies in her story on the show made audiences doubt her - and believe Gadd - even more.

Speaking to Morgan, Harvey insisted that the allegations against her were complete "nonsense" and said that she had only met Gadd "two or three times" but later said it was "five or six." When asked if she sent him 41,000 emails, Harvey said she had never sent him anything, only to alter her story seconds later.

"That's simply not true. If somebody was sending somebody 41,000 emails or something, they'd be doing how many a day? Lots," she said. "None of that's true. I don't think I sent him anything … No, I think there may have been a couple of emails exchanged, but that was it. Just jokey banter emails."

"After this interview I am 100% convinced that Richard isn't lying about her behaviour," one person wrote on the YouTube video.

Meanwhile, Fiona posted a series of updates on her Facebook account after the interview aired, calling Morgan a "bully" and saying he is "not a great interviewer."
