One of the world's most controversial TV personalities - Piers Morgan - has revealed that he has secured an exclusive interview with Fiona Harvey, the woman known as Martha Scott in Netflix's Baby Reindeer. Fiona is allegedly the woman who stalked comedian Richard Gadd for months on end, leading to him creating the series that has become a massive hit on the streamer.

Despite Gadd publicly pleading with his fans not to try to figure out who the people in his story were, the internet had already deduced that Fiona Harvey was the culprit thanks to tweets resurfacing from her past. In the tweets from 2014, she asks Gadd if he received her emails or if she is using the wrong address. In another, she urges people to go and see his show citing that he has a 'fantastic ass.' Another still shows her telling the comedian that her 'curtains need hanging badly' in reference to a sexual innuendo Gadd once reportedly made.

At first, Fiona took to her Facebook page to deny that she was the subject of the series but has since written numerous posts accusing Gadd of being the one who stalked her and claiming that he "would do anything for fame." She is now set to tell her side of the story to Morgan who revealed the news in social posts that sparked mixed responses.

On Instagram, the host posted a video that echoes the opening title sequence of Baby Reindeer, with a typed message promoting Fiona's appearance. The promo even includes Martha's signature 'sent from my ihpone' - mimicking the way she would often spell the sign-off incorrectly.

"Exploiting an already clearly vulnerable and potentially mentally ill person for views and when it was explicitly explained they wanted to protect her from the public eye?" one person questioned.

"This feels wrong on sooo many levels," another said.

"This woman clearly has mental health issues," added another. "She’s a vulnerable person. Shouldn’t be exploited like this for clicks and views."

Another wrote, "Disgusting; you’re giving a person who nearly ruined someone else’s life a platform?? For a few views?? Desperate and disgusting."

"Monetizing with a mental [sic] ill person with several restriction orders sick… you should be ashamed," someone else scathingly wrote.

Others were more forgiving, with one viewer writing, "Great scoop, always two sides to a story", while another said "The biggest get."

"Piers is about to break the internet with this interview," another predicted.

The reactions were equally divided on X where Piers posted a different promo for the interview in which he asks "Is she a psycho stalker?" along with a photo of himself with Fiona.

"This woman is mentally ill," one person wrote under the post. "This is irresponsible."

Said another, "This is exploitation of a person who is in a vulnerable position. Clearly unethical."

"This guy has absolutely no shame!" someone else said.

Many others shared their concerns for Fiona's mental well-being and the imminent threat of her being trolled and abused following the interview, accusing Piers of exploiting her for his own gain.

"This feels so grim and exploitative, even for you," someone scolded.

"Exploiting another person with mental health issues, top work Piers," another wrote along with the eye roll emoji.

"From everything I've read and seen about this lady, interviewing her in public is nothing short of exploitative," someone else wrote. "I hope your team has some checks and balances in place ahead of broadcast and, at the very least, provides some professional aftercare."

Said another still "Just a way to exploit someone who clearly has or had mental health issues. Anyway to make a bit of money. I'd mention morals but we all know you lack them!"

Piers' followers concerns about Fiona's safety are valid given that she has previously revealed that she has received death threats since Baby Reindeer premiered.

"I've had death threats from richard gadd supporters on here this week," she wrote on her Facebook several weeks ago. "I've had vile stalking and abusive threats. I know nothing about richard gadd apart from His sorry little life story I listened to on a sophie hagan podcast he did with her when baby reindeer came out."

Fiona has mentioned an upcoming TV interview in several of her recent Facebook posts, apparently in reference to her appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

It is an exclusive. Commenting on here is time consuming. I have a great many other things to do and am Running behind due to this baby reindeer circus. I've not made a penny from it. I've been abused terribly and intimidated. I hope you'll tune in t o the real Story on TV. Thank you for your patience"
