Troye Sivan completely unrecognisable in new music video: 'Took me a minute'
Fans compared Troye's stunning transformation to Millie Bobby Brown, Scarlett Johansson and Delta Goodrem.
Troye Sivan has left his fans completely shocked and “screaming” after he debuted a surprising new look in his latest music video.
The 28-year-old Australian pop star released the visual for his latest single ‘One of Your Girls’ on Friday where he appears completely unrecognisable in drag.
While the video begins with Troye singing into the camera wearing a T-shirt and hoodie, he is later shown wearing a long blonde wig with a full face of make-up as he performs impressive choreography.
He is also seen giving a lap dance to a shirtless Ross Lynch, an American singer and actor who found fame on the Disney Channel series Austin & Ally.

Troye’s followers have since compared his stunning appearance to a number of celebrities, including Millie Bobby Brown, Scarlett Johansson, Miley Cyrus, Kylie Minogue, Victoria Beckham and Delta Goodrem.
“Omg you’re literally a Hadid sister,” Aussie musician G Flip wrote on Instagram.

Other fans have also admitted they didn’t immediately recognise that the performer in the music video was Troye.
“It took me a minute to know it was you,” one person wrote, while another added, “I was watching the video and saying she's so pretty but then I realised it's Troye”.
“Gooped, gagged, gobsmacked,” a third shared, followed by someone else who said, “She’s literally sooo gorgeous”.
“This was incredible,” a different user replied, with another calling the reveal the “gag of the century”.
Troye explains the meaning behind the song
Speaking to PEOPLE about the new music video, the Rush hitmaker explained that the song was written after spending nights with men who liked him but didn’t identify as gay.
He said that he wanted to create a “fantasy version” of himself for the visual to become the person that these men would usually spend time with.
“It was really just reflective of how I felt I was bending and changing my values or my self-worth for someone else,” he said.
“It's like, slay, there's this performance from a pop-star-girl version of me. But towards the end of the video, I think you really can see the vulnerability and the cracks that this isn't going to work.”

‘One of Your Girls’ is the third single released from Troye’s new album Something to Give Each Other, which was also released on Friday.
The project is Troye’s first new album release in five years and has been lauded by critics as “one of the year's most distinctive pop albums”.
