Royal commentator Lady Colin Campbell already made headlines this week when she claimed Princess Anne was the royal Harry and Meghan wouldn't name in their Oprah Interview.
And on Friday, the author defended her claims in a bizarre interview with Channel Nine's Today show, in which she also lashed out at Meghan, calling her a "born complainer" and a "drama queen".
"Meghan weaponises colour with everything," the socialite, also known as Lady C, told hosts Leila McKinnon and Alex Cullen.
"You see, as long as she plays the colour card, she gets a free pass to behave as badly and as freely as she would like. She has no boundaries and as long as she plays the colour card, it is open season."
Both presenters were visibly shocked by what the 71-year-old said, with Leila jumping in to point out that Meghan "really did have a rough time with the press".
And while Lady C agreed Meghan was "absolutely attacked" she didn't think it was more so than any other member of the royal family or anyone in the public eye.
"Meghan was attacked the way everybody else is attacked who is in the public eye in Britain," she continued, believe she herself has been attacked "far more" than Meghan.
"Meghan had a very easy ride of it, but Meghan is a born complainer, and a drama queen."
But Leila was clearly having none of it, calling out the commentator for appearing to have a "case of the Piers Morgans".
"Is your intense dislike for any reason? Have you met Meghan?" she asked.
Lady C admitted she has not met the Duchess and didn't want to meet her, claiming "if you are a proper biographer, you don't have to meet the subject of your biography".
Though Leila disagreed, hitting back, "Well, my dear, maybe if you haven't met Meghan, you perhaps don't know exactly what she is like and you are just hearing what you are hearing from sources with their own agendas?"
Earlier in the week, Lady C alleged Princess Anne was the royal family member at the centre of the race row, however claimed it was more than likely a "misunderstanding".
“I know who it is - I’ve known for a little while who it is," she said, in a video released on Youtube, stressing the incident likely came from Princess Anne's concerns over Meghan's "respect for the institution".
"Not because of Meghan’s colour, but because of Meghan’s inability and determination to remain unable to appreciate the cultural differences and to actually have respect for the institution in to which she was marrying, and the family in which she was marrying," she said.
