Just three weeks ago, Brooke caused a stir on Instagram when she uploaded a snap in front of the Colosseum in Rome for the Fast X premiere.

Brooke wore a red cut-out Dundas dress for the occasion, with her 103,000 followers loving the classy look.

“Gorgeous,” one person said, with another calling her ensemble “iconic” and a follower calling her look “stunning”.

The Australian journalist, who was the newsreader on Triple J from 2016 to 2018, joined the Today show in 2019, working alongside veteran Channel Nine entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins.

Brooke said her own friends tend to give her the same advice, saying on the show: “To be fair, you know, my friends also sometimes say that to me.

“I know you've said that a couple of times, Karlos”.

Back in September 2021, Brooke spoke to Sunday Life magazine about how she had decided to freeze her eggs after breaking up with a partner she’s been with for a few years.

“Because I’d just gone through a breakup with someone I’d been with for a few years, it was probably going to be a while before I’d get back to that stage with someone new. I didn’t want to put pressure on myself; I didn’t want to date with the intention of finding someone to do that with," she said.

Brooke detailed the difficult process, saying she had to inject herself in the stomach daily.

"I really hated that part. I cried the first time I had to do it. I ended up getting Ally Langdon, who I work with, to help me with the injections every day and that was easier than doing it myself."
