Timm Hanly's unexpected claims about Bachelorette Angie Kent
It’s another day and another sizzling story out of the Bachie universe with Bachelor In Paradise star Timm Hanly making some rather unexpected claims about his former Bachelorette flame, Angie Kent.
Timm, who made it to the final two on Angie’s 2019 season, revealed that Angie, 30, reached out to him on social media following her break up with Carlin Sterritt back in July — but he was having none of it.
“She slid into my DMs [direct messages] but I just said, ‘Look I don’t think we are going to be friends’,” Timm, 27, told Confidential on Thursday.
He added that the newly-single Angie had ‘hoped we might be friends’ however he was quick to shut down the idea; “I was just like, ‘Whatever, relax love’,” he said.
In last year’s dramatic Bachelorette finale, Angie chose personal trainer Carlin over Timm, however, the pair announced they had parted ways during coronavirus lockdown after about a year together.

Timm is currently loved up after recently rekindling his relationship with an ex — named as nutritionist Briana De La Motte by Confidential — who he dated for six years prior to his stint on The Bachelorette.
“This was the girl I was with for six years before The Bachelorette and we just got back together a couple of months ago,” he told Hobart’s Hit100.9 on August 4.
Meanwhile, Angie is recovering in hospital after undergoing ‘key hole surgery’ to ‘remove’ endometriosis, a painful disease that she’s battled for over six years.
Timm’s recoupling is, of course, not without controversy, as he shared the news the morning after a Bachelor In Paradise episode aired in which he convinced his love interest at the time, Brittany Hockley, to quit and explore their relationship in the ‘real world’.
According to Britt, 32, Timm unceremoniously ‘ghosted’ her shortly after the pair returned to Australia from Fiji at the end of 2019.
“He said he really wanted to be with me, but as soon as we got out, he didn’t want a bar of it. I only saw him once and he treated me really badly, to be honest,” Britt told news.com.au.
